Celebrate Christmas

Our Christmas concert was held once again in the beautiful St Stephen’s Church in Bush Hill Park. A return to our trademark variety of musical styles was hugely popular and the church was full to capacity.

Adoramus were joined once again by the Eastfield Primary School Chhoir, whose enthusiasm was infectious and singing a delight.

What a wonderful start to the Christmas season!

Come and sing GLORIA

The Vivaldi was programmed for the second half of this wonderful concert which was a ‘come and sing’ opportunity for people to give performing with Adoramus a go, while accompanied by our marvellous orchestra ensemble.

Our audience were treated in the first half to some gorgeous baroque music such as Bach’s Branenburg Concerto, Albinoni’s Adagio and Marcello’s Concerto for Oboe in D Minor. Soloist Nicola Hooke sang a Handel aria and the lesser known version of Laudate Dominum by Mozart
